Product Information
RTX Red Rock is a sci-fi adventure played from a third-person perspective as players defend a Martian colony under siege from an alien force. Taking place 100 years in the future, players control the leader of an elite military force known as RTX — short for Radical Tactics Experts. As Eugene Zeno Wheeler, cybernetic soldier, players will confront the hostile aliens using brute force, explore the environment, and solve puzzles needed to advance further into the mysterious outpost on Red Rock.
Wheeler is not completely alone in this ten-level adventure. Chief Colony Officer Cimmeria Rajan will keep him apprised of the recent events, and a portable computer named IRIS can interface with electronic devices ranging from control panels to robots to vehicles. Once locked in, the computer module will talk to players using a female voice. Objects under IRIS’ control can also be manipulated by players to solve puzzles or to access otherwise unreachable areas.
Weapons and gadgets are accessible using Wheeler’s synthetic right arm, which can adapt into a grappling hook, taser, grenade launcher, and various other devices. Wheeler can also use his artificial left eye to sense the location of aliens, power-ups, and traps emitting a certain frequency. In addition to the single-player story mode, RTX Red Rock offers capture the flag, deathmatch, and racing levels for up to two players via split-screen.
